The National Chairman of the Africa China Chairmen of Business Council Forum (ACCBCF), High Chief Mike Yousuf Ugwu, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, received a delegation from LEMAX New Energy at the ACCBCF headquarters in Abuja to discuss opportunities for collaboration, business partnerships and the promotion of the company’s energy products in the Nigerian market.
The delegation was led by the Managing Director of LEMAX New Energy, Mr. Hu, alongside the company’s Sales Manager, Mr. Umar Dili.
Discussions focused on introducing LEMAX’s lithium battery products and energy storage solutions to the Nigerian market, while exploring partnerships with local businesses, investors and other stakeholders in the energy sector.
LEMAX is a technology-based manufacturer integrating research and development, production, sales and services in lithium battery products that provides energy storage and power system solutions for industrial and home energy storage, telecommunications, medical electronics, security, transportation, logistics, exploration and mapping, new-energy mobility and smart-home applications.
The proposed collaboration comes as solar energy continues to attract interest in Nigeria, where businesses and households are increasingly exploring solar power and battery storage as alternatives and supplements to conventional electricity supply. Energy storage can help users store electricity generated during periods of sunlight for use when solar generation is unavailable.
The engagement also considered opportunities to support Nigeria’s renewable-energy development by connecting Chinese energy technology with local businesses and investment opportunities.
