Zheng Xiaopeng, CEO and Publisher of Africa-China News(ACN), Abuja, on Wednesday, 16th October, paid a courtesy call to the Ethiopian Embassy in Abuja, where he met with Milikias Haras Hanka, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Ethiopian Embassy and Sadik-Abdullahi, Trade, Investment and Tourism Counselor of the Ethiopian Embassy.
The meeting which was aimed to explore potential partnerships and collaboration between ACN and the Ethiopian Embassy, also marked a noteworthy milestone in fostering cultural exchanges between China and Africa.
Xiaopeng emphasized ACN’s dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding and exchange, highlighting the vast cultural diversity of the African continent. He expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with the Ethiopian Embassy to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
”Ethiopia and China are greatly endowed culturally and it is the utmost desire of ACN to collaborate with the Ethiopian Embassy to promote cultural exchanges, people to people friendships, bridge language barriers, ensure mutual understanding, cooperation and economic development of both countries”, he stated.
Meanwhile, Milikias Haras Hanka, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Ethiopian Embassy expressed gratitude for Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng’s vision and commended ACN’s desire to promote culture and cultural ties between China, Ethiopian and the larger African continent.
”I wish to reaffirm the Embassy’s willingness to collaborate with ACN and welcomed their participation in future endeavors”, he stated.
The officials of the Ethiopian Embassy also suggested that ACN consider opening a branch in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, highlighting its strategic location as the home of the Africa Union(AU).
