Jovico Leads Nigerian Entrepreneurs on China Business Tour

A delegation of 28 Nigerian entrepreneurs and business executives has returned from an intensive business immersion programme in China organised by Jovico Investment Ltd, in a move aimed at strengthening direct trade links between Nigerian businesses and Chinese manufacturers.

The two-and-a-half-week tour, held from April 16 to May 5, 2026, was spearheaded by Dr. Ewulu Joseph Ifeanyi, founder and CEO of the company, in partnership with Engineer Chidomere Ndubuisi of Pamtech Group. Participants visited key industrial and commercial cities including Guangzhou, Beijing, Wuhan and Jinan, where they engaged directly with manufacturers, factory operators and suppliers.

According to the organisers, the initiative was designed to help Nigerian entrepreneurs bypass costly middlemen, establish direct sourcing relationships and gain practical exposure to China’s manufacturing and supply-chain systems. Participants explored sectors ranging from construction and interior design to automotive products, retail and consumer goods.

Several delegates described the programme as transformational for their businesses. Oladeji Zephaniah Eri-Oluwa, founder of Architecture Influencer Ltd and Juggarnaut Africa Limited, praised the seamless coordination and networking opportunities provided during the trip.

The development reflects a broader expansion in Nigeria-China commercial cooperation, as both countries deepen engagement in manufacturing, industrialisation and SME development. Recent agreements between Nigerian and Chinese institutions have focused on boosting investment flows, technology transfer and local production capacity.

Industry observers say such business exposure programmes could help position Nigerian entrepreneurs to compete more effectively in global supply chains, while supporting the country’s push toward industrial growth and export diversification.
