Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng, the CEO and Chairman of Africa China News (ACN), on Wednesday, November 6, held scheduled meeting with H.E. Alat Mogaskia, the Ambassador of the Republic of Niger to Nigeria, at the Embassy of Niger in Abuja.
The meeting was aimed at exploring opportunities for collaboration in tourism, media coverage of cultural events, and bilateral partnerships.
Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng, the Chairman of Africa China News, in his opening statement, opined that the ACN, which is a media platform supported by ECOWAS and other government parastatals, is committed to promoting cultural ties and mutual understanding among African nations and the People’s Republic of China.
Mr. Zheng expressed great satisfaction at visiting the embassy of the Republic of Niger to document and celebrate its rich culture, with the hope of covering Niger’s National Day and other major festivals.
He noted that “the principal objectives for ACN’s collaboration with the Niger Republic include strengthening bilateral relationships, showcasing Niger’s cultural heritage, collaborating with local agencies and facilitating cultural exchanges”.
Ambassador Alat Mogaskia, while responding to Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng’s address, commended ACN’s vision and emphasized the need for formal approvals from the relevant African government bodies and officials on the one hand and the Chinese government on the other hand.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to coordinate a visit to the Niger Republic, seek necessary approvals, collaborate with local partners and establish a strategic framework for cultural reporting.
Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng, the Chairman and CEO of ACN, further expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Alat Mogaskia for his insights and support, marking the beginning of a promising partnership between ACN and the Republic of Niger.
