On November 12, Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng, the Chairman and CEO of Africa China News (ACN), paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Fernando Eugene Ondako, the Ambassador of the Republic of Congo to Nigeria, at the Embassy office in Abuja.
Mr. Zheng introduced Africa China News to the Ambassador, reiterating the efforts and commitment of the ACN to promote and advance African culture to a broader audience through social media platforms.
He also noted that Africa China News has had several meetings with government representatives of several Africa countries who are also willing to collaborate with the ACN to aid and promote their cultural values and economic potentials on a global stage.
Ambassador Fernando Eugene in his response, expressed gratitude for Mr. Zheng’s interest in African culture and acknowledged the place of unity among people.
”Mr. Zheng Xiaopeng as a Chinese representative of African culture could help to bridge the gap between cultures”, he stated.
Meanwhile, the Ambassador also emphasized on the cultural diversity of the Congolese people, with over 50 dialects and various traditions. He however reassured Mr. Zheng thus; ”The Republic of Congo will collaborate with Africa China News, provided they adhere to Congolese policies”.
Further, to facilitate this partnership, the Ambassador entreated that a formal request be sent to the Congo Minister of Agriculture and the Chinese Ambassador in Congo, specifying its period of residency in Congo-Brazzaville.
